Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue & Resuscitation (L/V & CPR)
Program Duration: 4 hours
Program Location: Training Rooms: 188 East Street Rockhampton Qld 4700
(Onsite training requirements available on request).
Low Voltage Switchboard and Resuscitation (L/V & CPR) training was implemented to provide strategies for persons to perform a safe rescue of a victim who has received an electric shock or personal injuries while working on low voltage conductors or equipment. This course provides the participant with the skills on how to manage danger of accidental electrocution. At the completion of the course you will be competent to rescue and provide resuscitation to a person who has stopped breathing or is unconscious due to electrical shock.
Whilst New Horizons Safety & Training Services is a registered training organisation, registered with the Queensland Government and is able issue nationally recognised statement of attainments.
The Low Voltage Switchboard Rescue Module is a non-accredited course and participants will only be issued statements of attendance, which are not nationally recognised. However, on the successful completion of the Resuscitation module the participant paperwork will be sent onto the Queensland Ambulance Services for issuing of a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
